Article is 100% correct; this is the best way to document crashes and crime scenes when the equipment is readily available. HOWEVER, when they only have time to take imagery (film or digital) or that's the only thing left in the files years later ... the Forensic Photogrammetrist is the only way to develop the three-dimensional evidence for physical proof in court.
