The article reads like a sales piece written by NAVTEQ, not an actual review. It makes it sound like NAVTEQ has newly invented the use of parcels in GIS applications! Well, surprise! Most municipal governments already use parcels in GIS.
The article misses the things important to potential customers, such as: How recent is the parcel data? How often will NAVTEQ be updating the ever-changing parcel fabric? What parcel attributes are collected, from what sources? How spatially accurate are the parcels? What areas of the country are covered by this new product that aren't available from usualt parcel sources? etc.
The website link provided just takes you to the main NAVTEQ page, where the new product isn't even mentioned. Big help.
