Combine raster with vector data Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi,

I have some points (vector data) to which I like to dedicate informations of a raster.

In this case I need the values of the yearly precipitation and the yearly temperature for my vector points. I downloaded the climate datas from world clim in the highest resolution (30 arc-seconds (~1 km)) in the ESRI grids format.

I added these raster grids in ArcMAp but the values are not the real precipitation values, I think they are pixel values.

Normally I use the tool "Extract multi values to points" but I think it will not work because in the cimate raster are not the real values.

So please help me to combine good climate datas from Europe with points in Europe. Perhaps there are better free climate datas or an easier way to do it.

I'm German, so please apologize my english mistakes,

Thanks so much,

Wuan
