.DXF to Pathfinder office Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi all,

Ok here's the question. Once upon a time I had a full version of AutoCad 200 and could easily import .dxf files created by said cad to version 2.x.x of pathfinder office on an XP machine.

Then. I have AutocadLT 2004, Pathfinder Office 4.x.x. and Vista. Have not had to try transfering data between cad and pathfinder since all these changes occured.

Now. Pathfinder office does not recognize the .dxf output of AutoCad LT as a valid file format.  Any ideas??

It might be the 'flavor' of the DXF.  Save the file back to a 2000 dxf if you can.  If not, you might check and see if the free program DWG Gateway will work in ACAD LT.  If it does you'll be all set up to save back to any version you need.
