December 13, 2007 -- Dotted Eyes staff are celebrating reaching the end of a gruelling 5 month redesign of
www.dottedeyes.com. The new website is now one of the most comprehensive GIS resources on the web.
Visitors are offered free access to userguides, videos and product evaluations. Three blogs keep interested parties informed about developments in GIS, spatial data loading and web mapping and over 50 pages have been devoted to digital mapping datasets, including a downloadable guide to products derived from Ordnance Survey data.
Orange, Barclays Bank Plc, West Midlands Fire Service and Calderdale MBC have all contributed case studies to the site, amongst others.
New registrants visiting
www.dottedeyes.com/register before December 17th have the chance to win a sat nav donated by NAVTEQ.
Jamie Justham, MD of Dotted Eyes, commented, “We're at the forefront of rich Internet development for customers, using our ResponseMX web mapping framework. This summer our in-house team has overhauled our own web site at the same time as successfully completing a number of customer projects on time, including our sixth annual refresh of the Ordnance Survey Meridian 2 product. We're all proud of the clarity of
www.dottedeyes.com which now highlights more effectively our key areas of expertise.”
Marketing Executive, Jill Davis, comments, “The site reflects our commitment to maintaining our position as a thought leader in the GIS community. We will continue to develop the site so it will continue to be a one stop shop for anyone interested in GIS, regardless of their level of expertise. Case studies and videos give visitors the chance to see GIS in action.”
