GIS in the Rockies Conference Registration Available Online

Early Registrants Receive Discounted Rate of $225 

Denver, Colorado - May 25, 2007 - The program committee for the 2007 GIS in the Rockies Conference announces that event registration information is now available online. Interested GIS users, surveyors, and other interested technology professionals may now register for the event on the event website at http://www.gisintherockies.org/registration/

Attendees who register before August 1, 2007 will receive the early registration discounted rate of $225. Those presenting papers at the conference are eligible for an additionally discounted rate of $100 per day for the two-day event. 

“This is an exciting year for the GIS in the Rockies conference and sponsoring organizations. In celebrating our 20th year, the GIS in the Rockies planning committee has assembled a strong set of program tracks that will recognize the rich history and promising future of the geospatial industry in the Rocky Mountain region,” said Chris Longo, Chair of the GIS in the Rockies Planning Committee.

The program tracks are designed to appeal to a broad community of users and interested people. The professional societies and organizations share a dedication to promote professional development, education, and general community outreach while helping people understand the uses and benefits of the technology.

The 2007 conference will be held September 12 – 14, 2007 at INVESCO Field at Mile High stadium in Denver, Colorado. The six sponsoring societies and organizations share a dedication to promote professional development, education and general community outreach while helping people understand the uses and benefits of GIS technology.

    We look forward to attend another year at GIS in the Rockies come September. Article has dates, location, price, web link and contact person and number, the only thing missing were graphics, otherwise this was clear and complete!
