Accellera, the electronics industry organization focused on Electronic Design Automation (EDA) standards, will be at the Design Automation Conference (DAC09) in San Francisco and will host and co-host four free and open events on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. These events include an Accellera and SpringSoft-sponsored breakfast and panel titled "Frontiers in Verification: Coverage, Closure and Beyond," technical sessions addressing the IEEE 1801 standard for low-power design and the proposed 2009 SystemVerilog standard, as well as an event, co-hosted by Accellera and The SPIRIT Consortium that celebrates and covers details about the organizations' recently announced merger plans and is sponsored by Cadence Design Systems, Denali and Synopsys.

An Update on the Proposed 2009 SystemVerilog Standard Room 309This presentation provides an overview of more than 50 major new features being added in the proposed SystemVerilog-2009 standard. The presenters are Cliff Cummings of Sunburst Design and Stuart Sutherland of Sutherland HDL.
