ArdentMC Awarded Office of Border Patrol GIS Support to the Geospatial Service Center

RESTON, Va., Sept. 17, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —  Ardent Management Consulting (ArdentMC) announced today that it was awarded the Border Patrol GIS task order under the Geospatial Service Center in coordination with the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and United States Border Patrol (USBP). The 4.5 year Period of Performance provides geographic information by planning, coordinating, and implementing GIS services, standards, and programs to support the unique business needs of CBP and USBP. 

ArdentMC will provide support to the Geospatial Service Center (GSC) within OBP, Strategic Planning and Analysis Directorate, Enforcement Systems Division, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Branch, also known as the GIS Program Office and Office of Border Patrol GIS (OBP-GIS). The core mission objective of OBP-GIS is to manage and distribute spatial data, perform spatial analysis, and provide web-based mapping and situational awareness. Through this task order, ArdentMC will provide support to the GSC, CBP and USBP by performing necessary tasks using government-provided hardware, software and data, and by using processes, and standards existing within or approved by OBP-GIS.
