See creations by artists and developers of all kinds and learn more about the future of 3D Web.

About the Team

The 3D Web Fest is produced by a passionate team of industry experts dedicated to honoring the best of the 3D Web.

Executive Producer  Tony Parisi is a serial entrepreneur and pioneer of the 3D web. Tony invented the Virtual Reality Markup Language, the first language for creating 3D graphics for the web, and is currently the founder of Third Eye, a stealth San Francisco startup developing virtual reality applications. Tony is also the author of several O'Reilly Media books on 3D graphics and virtual reality.

Creative Director  Elliot Lavine has been a fixture on the Bay Area film scene since first arriving in the mid 1970s. He has produced critically acclaimed short films and, beginning in 1990, became the program director for the Roxie Theater in San Francisco. Additionally, he teaches film studies courses in the continuing studies programs at Stanford and San Francisco State. In 2010 he received the Marlon Riggs Award from the San Francisco Film Critics Circle in recognition of his two decades of film programming, his revival of rare archival and independent titles, and his role in the renewed popularity of film noir and pre-Production Code features.  Elliot runs the committee selecting the artists who will present at the Festival.

Jim Quanci is Senior Director of the Autodesk Developer Network (ADN) and proactive embracer of new technologies.  Jim has spent over 20 years developing partnerships for Autodesk with technology partners around the globe to build ecosystems that leverage the creativity and innovation of great people. The Autodesk ADN team is providing sponsorship and essential support to the 3D Web Fest.

Event sponsors include Autodesk, Goo Technologies, Leap Motion and Khronos Group.
