Informix Databases Can Now Be Managed on Auspex Storage Appliances, Providing The Savings, Uptime & Data Consolidation Benefits of Network Attached Storage

(Nasdaq: ASPX - news), a leading provider of enterprise storage solutions, today announced that its new NS3000 family of Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers has been certified for use in Informix database environments. The certification gives Informix users a high-performance storage option that delivers significant advantages over direct attached storage, including less expensive administration, data consolidation, and elimination of downtime normally required for expansion and backup/restore operations.
