Esri Partners Acknowledged for Best Practices in GIS

Redlands, California — March 10, 2015 — Today Esri honored its outstanding partners with awards recognizing their best practice contributions to the advancement of GIS in addressing real-world problems at the Esri Partner Conference (EPC).

The conference offers attendees a stimulating environment to develop the strategies, skills, and contacts necessary to extend the value of their businesses and deliver successful applications for both commercial and government use.

"These partners best demonstrate the power of GIS and what can be accomplished with it,” says Jack Dangermond, Esri president.

Awards were presented in the following categories:

·   Public Web Application — ‎ Blue Raster
Global Forest Watch Fires Online Platform is the result of a partnership between Blue Raster, World Resources Institute, Esri, DigitalGlobe, and others. It was built using Esri’s ArcGIS for Server 10.2.2 with Image Extension and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript. The platform contains comprehensive information on the location of fires, land use, land cover, and conservation areas in Indonesia.

·   Private (Internal) Web Application — ‎ GISi
ProjectMapper is a solution developed by GISi for the Philadelphia Corps of Engineers, using ArcGIS for Server 10.3, Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript. ProjectMapper is a simple one-stop portal for access to the Corps of Engineers’ database. It allows users to share standardized project maps.

·   ArcGIS for Desktop Based Application ‎Innovyze
InfoWater is a water distribution modeling and management application fully integrated with GIS. Built atop ArcGIS using the latest Microsoft .NET and Esri ArcObjects component technologies, InfoWater seamlessly integrates advanced water network modeling and optimization functionality with the latest generation of ArcGIS.

·   Innovation Application — ‎ OSIsoft
PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS is an integration product that works with the ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server to allow real-time, near real-time, or archived data from operational systems and sensors stored in the PI System to display in a map layer.

·   Best New Partner — ‎ BlueReview
BlueReview brings the power of ArcGIS into an easy, simple to use web-based tool and mobile app. Manage and complete One-Call Center locate tickets in real-time from your computer or mobile device. Go paperless and capture savings in time, fuel, maintenance, and equipment.

·   Organizational Use of ArcGIS Online — ‎ Witt O’Brien’s
The Incident Command System COP is an ArcGIS Online-based solution that is integrated with the company’s CommandPro automation tool. It increases an organization's capabilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents. Emergency management personnel can visualize an integrated Incident Command System through a COP and systematically command, control, and coordinate multi-agency emergency response.

·   Integrated Enterprise System Services Implementation — ‎ Lockheed Martin Corporation (IS&GS)
Teamed with Esri to deliver an implementation of the Esri ArcGIS Portal 10.2 capability to the Amazon Web Service (AWS) Commercial Cloud Services Environment.

·   Initial Operating Capability Services Implementation — ‎ SSP Innovations
ArcGIS Online Jumpstart for EGUG & TELUG facilitates the use of ArcGIS Online by electric, gas, and telecommunications companies.

·   Innovative ArcGIS Marketplace Provider — ‎ GEO-Jobe GIS Consulting
Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online is a free suite of tools for the ArcGIS Online administrator. The tools help minimize the amount of time spent on performing administrative tasks.

·   Best Practices in Community Outreach — ‎ WebMapSolutions
An energetic, aligned partner that is always blogging and tweeting to promote Esri technology.
