Adding increased functionality and 2014 compatibility

In addition to the new Utility, IMAGINiT has also made productivity enhancing updates to the existing Utilities for Vault Server and Utilities for Vault Client including compatibility with the 2014 version of Autodesk Vault.

New Utility Available in Utilities for Vault Server 2014
A new Utility is now available inside IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Server 2014. It is the new Vault Metadata Update which enables users of Vault Server 2014 to export and import data from a spreadsheet – including descriptions or part number changes – eliminating the need to manually enter items into the data management system. Instead, users can simply run an export to an Excel spreadsheet, fill in the missing data and re-import the data from the spreadsheet, resulting in significant time savings. The ability to easily share the data for review once it’s on a spreadsheet improves the accuracy of the data.
Enhancements to the IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Client 2014
- The Create PDF tool has expanded abilities to generate PDFs from Inventor IDW and DWG as well as AutoCAD files at the press of a button using the Job Processor.
- The Batch Checkout offers a simple method of checking out multiple files at once, offering superior version control and improving workflow across the entire team.
Availability and Pricing
IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Server starts at $995(US) without Maintenance. The IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Client start at $395 (US) without Maintenance, however, clients who purchased Autodesk Subscription with IMAGINiT receive IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Client free via the ProductivityNOW Portal.
