Affordable production programmer for Atmel’s new AT Xmega family is fast and reliable.
REDMOND, Wash. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — January 21, 2010 — RPM Systems Corporation today announces programming support for Atmel’s AVR AT Xmega family of microcontrollers. Available immediately, the MPQ-AVR programmer provides in-circuit programming of all available devices in the AVR Xmega family. The new Xmega support is in addition to existing AVR microcontrollers already supported by MPQ-AVR, including ATMega, ATTiny and AT90 microcontroller families.
Designed to provide medium- to high-volume in-circuit programming in the manufacturing environment, the MPQ supports programming of as few as four to as many as 64 devices per programming cycle. It can operate stand-alone, ATE-controlled or PC-controlled, and provides such features as automatic device serialization, “CM” code security data protection and field upgradeable device support in a rugged aluminum enclosure.
MPQ is provided complete with power supply, target connection cables and MPManager software. The MPQ-AVR data sheet is available online at http://www.rpmsys.com/mpq-avr.pdf.
