"We are pleased that Escambia has recognized our vast experience with the type of gas that is produced in this field and our ability to deal with the challenges it presents," John Hickman, senior vice president for operations and program management, said. "This also marks Baker Energy's first contract in Alabama, and we hope to leverage this new presence into other producing areas of the state, including the Black Warrior Basin."
"We are pleased to have Baker Energy serve as contract operator for our recently acquired Alabama assets, that include several producing fields and two large gas processing plants," Jeff Bartlett, chief financial officer of Escambia Asset Co., LLC, said.
