Announcing AAM New Zealand

AAM New Zealand (AAM NZ) announces an exciting new beginning in Napier, New Zealand.

Oct 24, 2014 -- AAM NZ, a wholly owned subsidiary of AAM, has opened a new office in Napier, New Zealand. Building on its rich heritage of landmark aerial survey projects throughout the country, AAM NZ along with its New Zealand investors, Knox Investment Partners, has expanded its commitment to the New Zealand geospatial market.

Tim Farrier, formerly of New Zealand Aerial Mapping (NZAM), will lead the Hawke’s Bay team as General Manager. Tim is joined by Dave Froggatt and Lorraine Claydon, also formerly of NZAM, to create a formidable team with an unmatched background and knowledge of the New Zealand aerial survey environment. “AAM New Zealand will be totally focussed on building the right solutions for New Zealand with the right mix of technology and local experience” Farrier said.

AAM NZ will use dedicated, state of the art, aircraft, LiDAR and aerial imaging technology located in Hawke’s Bay and will be supported by the world class scale and capacity of the greater AAM group. AAM NZ will also look to bring AAM’s impressive suite of geosolutions to the unique New Zealand geospatial landscape.

“It is clearly an exciting development for us” said AAM CEO, Mark Freeburn. “Tim, David and Lorraine bring a world class skill set to the local AAM NZ office. They are well respected and admired and while we would love to use their skills in all parts of AAM we know that for the time being their hearts and minds are set on the task of rebuilding the New Zealand aerial survey capability through AAM NZ.” Freeburn concluded.
