ADC WorldMap Releases Digital Atlas Version 7.0

Upgrade features new generalized World Nations and World Admin boundaries

Appleton, WI-USANovember 12, 2013 – ADC WorldMap, a leader in providing comprehensive, current, and seamless geographic digital data for the whole Earth, is pleased to announce the release of ADC WorldMap Digital Atlas v7.0.  The ADC WorldMap upgrade features new generalized versions of our World Nations and World Administrative 1 boundaries.  The new layers are significantly smaller in size compared to our detailed World Nation and World Administrative boundary layers. The detailed World Nation and World Administrative boundaries are still available.

Along with the generalized World Nations and World Administrative layers, ADC WorldMap Digital Atlas v7.0 includes current country and first level political boundaries for the entire world and over 31,000 second level political boundaries in 114 countries. In addition, we have doubled the number of Points of Interest (POIs) – with more than 200,000 POIs worldwide in 51 categories.  ADC WorldMap Digital Atlas v7.0 also features localized names for all features in the World Admin 1 and 2 layers, and the World Nations layer.
