Who: Michael Snaith, Manufacturing Systems IT Group Manager at Cummins will discuss how Cummins is now implementing a next generation enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to fuel their strategic growth in emerging markets of Brazil, India and China. With 30+ years of manufacturing experience, Snaith has spent the past 15 years at Cummins working in many areas of the business such as Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Six Sigma, Operations and more recently on the implementation of ERP systems within their Engine business. Now he is responsible for the deployment of Next Generation Manufacturing Execution Systems across Cummins’ global operations.

What: Attendees at the Microsoft Manufacturing Innovation Day 2013 will learn how a “Core” methodology has accelerated Cummins’ global MES deployment and, coupled with a Center of Excellence team, has expedited the sharing of process innovations and best practices across their manufacturing enterprise.
