Surviving Storm Damage:
With a Motion & Esri Solution

No one is impervious to extreme weather conditions whether they be tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding or snow storms. Professionals across the world are learning to fight back by having the tools to collect, assess and repair damage quickly and accurately.

Join this webinar to learn how a tablet solution running location-based software can provide fast access to information, enable constant, real-time communication, eliminate the need to re-key data and streamline the response process.

Bill Meehan, P.E. head of the worldwide utility practice for ESRI will discuss some of the lingering issues utilities face with a lack of accurate and timely data and how Mobile GIS can go a long way to improving the quality of data to drive more fact-based decisions.

Kyle Sale, Director of Product Marketing for Motion Computing will give an overview of why a rugged tablet solution designed to automate mobile field service workflows provides the ideal foundation for storm damage response professionals.

William Meehan, P.E. heads the worldwide utility practice for Esri, the world’s largest GIS software company. Author of Empowering Electric and Gas Utilities with GIS, Modeling Electric Distribution with GIS, GIS for Enhanced Electric Utility Performance, Power System Analysis by Digital Computer and numerous papers and articles, Bill has lectured extensively and taught courses at Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts.  He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
